First timer at Gretchens’ here. The salon was very nice even with the shop moving to a new location. I’m sure I confused them a guy with a girls name. Nails came out perfect. Showed a picture of what I wanted and BAM! She made the exactly how I want them.. my nail artist explained she graduated last year so she was relatively new. I’m all for supporting new talent especially from SkillsUSA. Will definitely be back.
I have no clue how this place has such good reviews! The tech was very new, fresh from school, and nice but my wife’s pedicure was not up to par and no where near worth $67, for a simple polish. Her feet were not scrubbed with pumice. Cuticles were not cut back. Nails were barely cut and filed. Nails were not cleaned from the underside. Polish is uneven and goopy … even after being painted for a second time at my wife’s request. She left without getting her manicure because we are heading to Target to get stuff to redo her nails before we have to leave for a wedding. Edit - My wife never said it was “wonderful”. She said it was “fine” because she was trying to leave quickly so we could go get supplies so she could fix it before the wedding. These pictures were taken immediately outside of the spa in the parking lot. The work was so poorly performed, she had no confidence they would be able to make it any better. She was not informed that the tech was new until the tech shared she wasn’t confident in waxing because she is fresh out of school. At the end, my wife didn’t want to embarrass the tech by telling her how disappointed she was with the pedicure. I assume when paying $67 dollars for a pedicure they have techs working that know what they are doing, regardless of if they are fresh out of school or not. Would you pay $67 for this?
Took my young teen daughter here for a mani and some gel polish (her 1st) after the other nearby place was full. Thank goodness I did. Gretchen is a sweetheart of a lady and was very knowledgeable and skilled. She made us feel completely at ease! My daughter showed her what she was looking for from pictures on her phone. Helped her select the nail polish in an ombre pattern with a matte finish. She loves them! Thank you!
It was amazing!! Gretchen did my nails and she gave me a lot of nail care tips I never knew. It came out super pretty. Bernadette Did my mothers nails and they look wonderful! They both were a ton of help picking out the perfect color. I hope to come back here again!!
Gretchen did a fabulous job shaping and polishing my nails! She uses organic products and never removes my polish with chemicals. Having two types of cancer, that means a great deal to me! Thank you for taking me on, getting me in so quickly, your kindness n and your expertise!
